What does a website really need in 2026?
I recently spoke with a client who runs an architectural studio. Beautiful designs, a solid brand, a dozen years in business. The website? Made in 2019 by "a friend who knows."

It loads slowly, everything on his phone is broken, and to change the address in the footer, he calls this friend, who answers less and less often. I asked him directly: how many inquiries he receives through the website per month. After a moment of silence, he replied: "Actually, clients come to me mainly through recommendations." And here's the crux of the whole conversation. Because recommendations are great—as long as they work. But a website that doesn't generate any traffic, doesn't collect leads, and doesn't build trust with someone who finds it from Google—is wasted potential. Every day.
